Sekelompok alumni yang sukses berkumpul untuk mengunjungi para dosen Universitas yang sudah lanjut usia. Tak lama kemudian, topik pembicaraan mereka beralih ke keluhan tentang tekanan pekerjaan dan kehidupan. Sang dosen pergi ke dapur dan membawakan para tamu teko kopi besar dan berbagai cangkir kopi: keramik, plastik, dan gelas. Beberapa cangkir kopi tampak biasa saja, sementara yang lain mahal dan halus. Sang dosen meminta para mahasiswa untuk mengambil kopi panas sendiri.<\/p>\n

Ketika semua siswa mengambil secangkir kopi, guru berkata: "Kalian mungkin memperhatikan bahwa semua cangkir kopi yang bagus dan mahal telah diambil, dan sisanya adalah cangkir yang murah dan biasa saja.
