Adakah botol air plastik atau logam lebih baik?<\/p>\n

Dalam kebanyakan botol air logam, bahan keluli tahan karat merupakan bahagian terbesar. Keluli tahan karat mengandungi banyak logam berat, seperti kandungan kromium harus menyumbang lebih daripada 10%. Sudah tentu, keluli tahan karat adalah sejenis logam dengan sifat yang stabil, tetapi kestabilan tidak bermakna ia tidak akan mengurai bahan berbahaya dalam sebarang keadaan, tetapi agak stabil. Keluli tahan karat yang berbeza mempunyai perbezaan yang besar. Sebagai contoh, beberapa botol air keluli tahan karat di pasaran akan menjadi hitam selepas satu tempoh masa, dan sesetengahnya akan menjadi cerah dan bersih seperti baharu selepas sekian lama.<\/p>\n

Pada masa ini, bahan-bahan botol air plastik di pasaran terutamanya termasuk PP, PC dan tritan. Plastik tidak mengandungi logam berat, PP juga lebih stabil dalam plastik. Walau bagaimanapun, kestabilan juga relatif, dan sejumlah kecil bahan organik akan dimendakan dalam keadaan tertentu. Dalam proses menggunakan semua jenis bahan organik buatan manusia, orang ramai telah menemui semua jenis bahan berbahaya kepada tubuh manusia atau alam sekitar. Oleh kerana mengejar kualiti hidup dan kesihatan orang ramai, keperluan alam sekitar bahan mentah plastik juga meningkat. Contohnya, apabila PC dihidrolisiskan, BPA (bisphenol-A) terhasil. Menurut penyelidikan perubatan moden, BPA melebihi dos tertentu boleh menjejaskan kesihatan manusia (termasuk haiwan). Sekiranya sejumlah kecil BPA ditelan untuk masa yang lama, sistem endokrin akan menjadi tidak teratur, yang berkemungkinan besar akan memberi kesan buruk kepada sistem pembiakan dan memusnahkan keseimbangan nisbah jantina. Oleh itu, sesetengah negara dan wilayah telah menyekat atau mengharamkan PC. Kementerian kesihatan dan jabatan lain mengeluarkan notis mengatakan bahawa bisphenol A dilarang digunakan dalam botol bayi sejak 1 September 2011. Menghadapi tekanan perlindungan alam sekitar, pengeluar mencari bahan yang boleh menggantikan PC. Eastman telah membangunkan generasi baharu kopoliester tritan.<\/p>\n

Tritan tidak mempunyai komponen BPA dalam proses pempolimeran dan tidak membebaskan BPA semasa digunakan.<\/p>\n

Botol air keluli tahan karat, PP dan tritan agak selamat di kalangan botol air yang diperbuat daripada pelbagai bahan tiruan.<\/p>\n
