Al snel ging het gesprek over de druk van werk en leven. De docent ging naar de keuken en bracht de gasten een grote pot koffie en een verscheidenheid aan koffiekopjes: keramiek, plastic en glas. Sommige koffiekopjes zagen er gewoon uit, terwijl andere duur en delicaat waren. De docent vroeg de studenten om zelf hete koffie te halen.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Toen alle leerlingen een kopje koffie hadden gepakt, zei de leraar: &quot;Je ziet misschien dat alle mooie en dure koffiekopjes zijn weggehaald en dat de rest goedkoop en gewoon is. Ja, dat is normaal. Jullie willen allemaal het beste voor jezelf, maar dat is de bron van problemen en stress. Wat jullie echt willen is koffie, geen koffiekopjes, maar jullie gaan bewust op zoek naar betere koffiekopjes en houden elkaars koffiekopjes goed in de gaten.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>De leraar pauzeerde en ging verder. &quot;Als we het leven nu vergelijken met koffie, dan zijn werk, geld en sociale status koffiekopjes. Het zijn slechts hulpmiddelen voor het leven, en de kwaliteit van het leven verandert er niet mee. Soms concentreren we ons alleen op het kopje koffie in plaats van er met heel ons hart van te genieten.<\/p>\n<p>Laat de beker je niet in de weg zitten.
